When a switch is done from 1 category to another the grid is refreshed to get the entries for the selected category. The filter may not at all be applicable to the next selected category. For example say I have loaded Apple items and set a filter for "Apple iPhone 13" next I load the items from Samsung category, so here the filter is not at all applicable and if the filter is retained the grid will be empty and can totally confuse the users. Hence retaining filters across the categories will not be appropriate
