MDM CE - ODM 8.8.1 integration

WODM integration plugin is not working with ODM 8.8.1. Manage Decision tab returns error - you can check PMR history for more information. Last known working version is 8.7.
Most importantly, we need the same functionality with 8.8.1 as was in 8.7. This is the minimal requirement of the customer.
We also strongly recommend changing two-way relationship CE item <=> Rule to one-way relationship CE item => Rule (i.e. rule would have no ProductId metadata specified; the only place where the link is specified is the CE item itself). The existing solution is a design anti-pattern, since it requires changing Rule productId each time a business user attaches the rule to a CE Item. Also, this design flaw makes it impossible to attach the same rule project to multiple CE items.
