Thank you so much Marcus for the update
Srikanth,
I’m pleased to update you that we have completed the testing of both MDM Collaborative Edition and MDM Advanced Edition and can confirm support for Oracle RDS running on AWS. We will shortly be updating our product documentation and the Software Product Compatibility Matrix to reflect these changes.
We will support this database on v11.6 and higher for any version of Oracle that we support in MDM 11.6. Testing was completed using our most recent Advanced Edition Feature Pack, 11.6.0.11 and Collaborative Edition Feature Pack, 11.6.0.14. Please review this technote if you intend to use version 28 of the Oracle driver: https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/ibm-infosphere-master-data-management-standard-advanced-edition-v1160x-oracle-12cr2-interim-fix-readme
Sorry i have opened another one under this InfoSphere Master Data Management Collaborative Edition, if this is not appropriate please close. Thanks.
I was asked by IBM Support team to open ER under InfoSphere Master Data Management .
Hi Srikanth
Thank you for your submission. Were you intending to submit this under our MDM Managed Offering on IBM Cloud? If so, this is not something we would support.
I have assumed this was intended to be submitted under IBM MDM Advanced and Standard Edition offerings. Our current support policy for Oracle on Amazon is summarized in this Tech Note on the IBM Support site: https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/can-ibm-infosphere-master-data-management-be-used-oracle-aws
