Case# TS000072330 Difference in behavior of legacy Data Stewardship User Interface and the current Data Stewardship Center

Original Case number : TS000072330

We have observed a discrepancy in the “Suspect Duplicate Processing” functionality of legacy DSUI vs DSC.
The following is scenario:

1. 2 parties are merged through DSUI.
2. A new contract to party relationship is created on the newly created party (golden record).
3. The golden record is now unmerged (undo-collapse). So the golden record is inactivated and 2 new parties are created.

When the unmerge is executed using legacy DSUI, the data steward is notified on the DSUI screen, that a contract-party relationship was created on the golden record. It also gives an option to which of the 2 newly created parties should this contract be related to.(Screen shot attached).

But we did not see a similar functionality in DSC, where the data steward is notified of the changes taken place on the golden record.

Questions:
1. Does this functionality exist in the Data Stewardship Center?
2. Is there any way, using a fix pack/applying a patch on DSC, where data steward is notified of the changes in the contract-party relationship applied on the golden record?

The version of MDM is IBM Infosphere MDM v 11.4.
