inactive party contact methods – performance issue

We are maintaining history in the main tables only as we are end dating and adding new records for any demographics change.



We have observed in Performance testing environment few Parties are having 500+ end dated record for Contact methods and 4 active contact methods. From Business Proxy we are only fetching active records using getPerson() OOTB transaction and finally executing updatePerson transaction which will have only 4 active records which came in request plus 4 records from db with end date which was previously active. But we have observed OOTB is fetching all the inactive records from db in the handleBeforeImage() method which is causing time delay.
