Bulk rename for the record names

Once records are created, there may be an option to change the name of the record, however there is no method to do this in Bulk. For example,

If we have created 3 risks with the name BSL_RSK_001, BSL_RSK_002 & BSL_RSK_003, there is no bulk or quick way to change it to BSL2_RSK_001, BSL2_RSK_002 & BSL2_RSK_003. 

The closest option which seemed like it could work is Fastmap, but it actually doesn't work in this case because it creates new records with new names and doesn't update the existing record names.  If a feature for such renames for the name field, in bulk, could be added, it would be great. Our though is that a feature which is not exactly a bulk feature but if we can add in-place edit of fields available right on the grid view. It would go a long way.
