Ability to Schedule a Calculation from UI

Currently a calculation triggers only when any change is made to the record applicable.

Consider the below situation,

There is a calculated field "Past Due ?" set as Yes or No based on a date field "Due Date", < or > SYSDATE.

User edits the record on 1st Jan,

Due Date is 5th Jan and Past Due ? is No

No update is made to the record till 31st Jan, so the calculation does not trigger as well.

Past Due ? stays as No even after 5th Jan is passed. This is not ideal.

The only option is to create a custom code to schedule the calculation for a basic GRC functionality as this.

Having an option to schedule a calculation like how we have for a workflow would be an ideal solution.
