Issue Entry App Form

Currently, there is an existing LossEvent entry app form that enables users to create loss event records without needing to log in to OpenPages. This is very helpful & efficient, especially for users who only need to submit data occasionally. It simplifies the data entry process and reduces the administrative burden of managing OpenPages access for infrequent users.

We would like to request for the development of a similar entry app form for the Issue object. The goal is to:

  • Reduce dependency on OpenPages access for users who only need to report or raise issues occasionally.

  • Streamline the user experience by providing a simplified, intuitive interface that is easier to navigate than the standard OpenPages UI.

  • Improve operational efficiency by minimizing the need for access provisioning, training, and support for users who do not require full OpenPages functionality.

  • This Issue entry app form should mirror the functionality and user-friendly design of the LossEvent form, ensuring consistency and ease of adoption. It should also include necessary validations and data capture fields aligned with the Issue object requirements in OpenPages.
