Provide archival features to efficiently manage large volume of data within OpenPages
As our data increases to a larger volume ( i.e 700GB ) everyday, it becomes longer and longer to manage the data archival / db2 backup process. Also certain task such as reporting schema rebuild takes large amount of space (i.e 50 GB of db2 log space) This increases the overall time / cost involved with Application / database maintenance
Please evaluate the various options and provide features to manage data volume efficiently 1) db2 table compression 2) Product level archival such as use of searchable history table
We have 960 GB data in Production and don't see any utility to enable archival process. Please provide mechanism for archival process i.e archiving data past ceratin date/time frame. Also including information such as how much space can be reclaim...
