Changing the base currency with DB2 database

When OpenPages is installed with a default USD base currency or any other base currency, there should be a way to change that currency later on instead of reinstalling the environment.
I raised a PMR 85146,024,677 and a SQL script was provided to reset base currency but it gave an error. The following were the comments from IBM Srini on PMR.
"It appears like we don't have a working script for DB2 database. The script that I sent you has got some issues. Apologies for sending that script to you. We have tried the script on Oracle database and it has worked couple of times but may be you are the first customer to try the script on DB2 database.
The feedback is that we currently don't have a supported method to change the base currency. The script that was sent was a custom script that was developed for a customer so it appears like it is not a generic one and is also not certified by the Product Management team.
Unfortunately, we don't have a certified and supported script to change the base currency. I suggest you to raise an enhancement request for this".
