RELATED IDEAS

System Administrator option to prevent user login, disconnect existing users and display notification message.

When an administrator needs to perform some system maintenance operations we may need to keep users out of the system - but the system has to remain up.  Eg. Large hierarchy change with data moves and security access changes.  Or an upgrade where we need to do various checks before allowing the user back in to resume their work.   Ideally we should be able to see who is connected and also ping an alert message to logged in users to advise them if the system is about to be made unavailable.

    This request will not be delivered within the release currently under development, but the theme is aligned with our multi-year strategy. IBM is soliciting RFE Community feedback for this request through activities such as voting. IBM will update this request in the future.
