Hi,
We have a need to hide / disable the Out-Of-The-Box "My Tasks" and "My Subscription tasks" tabs. The use cases that we have are –
My Tasks tab does not respect the security RUles. We have group based assignments/subscriptions to allow for delegate functionality but we have some access controls put in place based on Org-Role based security and security Rules to restrict the users from accessing certain tasks. While un-authorised users are not allowed to access the tasks (system throws an error when user clicks on an un-authorised task), it still causes a lot of usability and user-training issues like unnecesary cluttering of the my tasks page.
We would to like build our own mechanism (may be notifications or something else) to allow the users to access their workflow tasks - A manager's Exec. Assistant might want to go into the system and progress a workflow on behalf of the manager, who is the Responsible person.
Thank you.
Yours,
Karan.

This request will not be delivered within the release currently under development, but the theme is aligned with our multi-year strategy. IBM is soliciting RFE Community feedback for this request through activities such as voting. IBM will update this request in the future.
We are having the use case that the "My Tasks" and the "Oversight Tasks" tabs are being used, but not the "Subscription Tasks" (as we are not using the subscriber role). For the endusers it would be less confusing if we were able to disable/hide the "Subscription Tasks" tab.
We have 2 customer concerning about this topic in Brazil as well:\
Bradesco
Banrisul
Many Thanks,
Thank you for submitting this Idea!
