OP RCM: Ability to copy details from one requirement eval to another

We would like to have the functionality to copy the details recorded in one requirement evaluation into another one.....this would save a significant amount of time for our assessors when assessing requirement evals.

Our assessment approach is as follows:

1) Create compliance theme in library (the theme could be an individual regulation, or a grouping or regulatory topics)

2) Launch the theme deployer to assign the library theme to one or more legal entities...this creates a compliance theme for each legal entity assigned

3) The requirement evals in each legal entity compliance theme are then assessed using workflow functionality

The challenge:

Let's pick a scenario...let's say we want to assess a new regulation (mandate) in China.

The mandate consists of 100 clauses (requirements)

We have four legal entities that we need to assess against.

In many instances a large number of those requirements will be addressed by common controls, common policies, etc. Leaving maybe a smaller amount of requirements that require specific legal entity assessment.

At the moment, we would still have to go through our full workflow process, and we would have to go into each requirement eval. In the scenario, that would need to be done 400 times (4 x 100 requirement evals).

After performing the first legal entity review, it would be great if we could then select the requirement eval content and copy them across to the other three legal entities. Then we can focus only on the delta for the remaining three legal entities.

We have thought of different ways of doing this...eg just one requirment eval at the country level (eg China)...however, we have internally determined that this does not meet the business requirement, as we would need to report on each individual legal entity. So we have to demonstrate the different assessments

Hi John...thanks for the feedback. I would be interested to know how other clients are addressing this challenge. I can only stress from my company's perspective that a "copy feature" is critical...for us, with the current OP RCM functionality, it will be extremely difficult to onboard other users, as existing office tools used for such assessments would be much quicker for them to copy paste details. I hope this feature can be added soon after the current release being developed.

    Many thanks and best regards

Thank you again for submitting this RFE!

This request will not be delivered within the release currently under development, but the theme is aligned with our multi-year strategy. IBM is soliciting RFE Community feedback for this request through activities such as voting. IBM will update this request in the future.
