Ability to pull Cognos report relating to specific object when in the object

When viewing a LossEvent for example, would it be possible to add an extract functionality so that we can pull a particular report pointing to that LossEvent reference and data directly from OpenPages. We have a 'Single Event Summary' report that has a prompt page to insert the reference and pulls off a particular report we use internally. If we could have a link which pointing to Cognos which would automatically fill in the prompt page. This would help to give us full integrated reporting using OpenPages

    I believe this can be done, we have a few examples in the out of the box solutions set, here is the print plan button (Simple string field) on the business continuity objects
