Christophe, for many OpenPages generated emails, especially task and bulk reminders it would be great to be able to set some minimal rules. At least the option to choose certain days of the week, the time based on time-zone and custom days to disable notifications. That doesnt mean you need to have all different time-zones of the world enabled, having 1 or 2 per region would be of great help already. If we can customize ourselves Do Not Send days, we add additional flexibility and can choose ourselves to disable Saturdays, Sundays or certain days within the year for religious holidays for example.
Obviously, OpenPages in many case is used accross the globe with:
Different time zone based for users based on their current location or maybe default time zone
Different work days depending on the country
Different company vacations
Different personal vacations
This requirement probably applies to all other applications in the organizations.
Should this be handled by the email system in the organization accross entreprise applications? or is this really an OpenPages expected function
Are we wrong in making such an assumtion?
I support this idea, capability to be able to apply business rules on notifications using different time zones !!
