Having more parameters in API calls

It would be beneficial to be able to pass more parameters during an API call (server/execute, for example). Currently, we can use an overrides file to modify a DBalias or the path to an XF file, for instance, in the case of a data extraction request. The problem is that modifying these values requires modifying the overrides file hosted on the server, thus granting API users more privileges. It would be preferable for users to be autonomous during API calls by directly passing these values in the header, for example.

We should also be able to obtain the execution report, which lists the tables and the number of rows processed during a data extraction request, for instance. Currently, the only feedback we receive concerns the API call itself, such as a 200 OK error, etc. However, it is also important to be able to retrieve an execution report through the API. We are looking for ways to allow our internal clients to independently launch certain processes without granting them more privileges than necessary.
