Convert xlsx files to csv as an option to Allow file upload

In PAW, the recent option to Allow file upload on a button would require users to upload their files in .csv format, meaning they have to convert their .xlsx or .xlsm files locally and then drag and drop the files in the file upload screen.

Alternatively, we could have a script called by ExecuteCommand function to automatically convert the .xlsx files to .csv automatically when users decided to drag and drop Excel files instead. This saves some extra steps they do to convert their files to csv locally.


We tried to create a Powershell script that converts files from .xslx to .csv, however it does not seem to work on IBM Cloud (because Excel is not installed on the Data tier for TM1).


Can you please consider this for future enhancements ? Thanks !
