Allow Status Updates on Homepage

The user community has asked that we display a message somewhere on our homepage to reflect the datetime of when data was last pulled from our ERP system. We have the datetime available in a cube already. I would like to display that on the homepage, so that users can see it when they first login. This would make latency from our source system very clear to all users, regardless of which report or workspace they use.

Said another way, I would like to be able to programmatically update some text on the PAW and TM1web homepages to show a message like, "Data last updated from QAD on 1/12 6am PST". This is already consistent with many PAW screens that show status messages on the right side of the layout.

Attached are two images with a red circle identifying the area where I would like to display this information for users when they first login.
