Deploy TI processes with PAW life cycle management

TI processes are an important part of any PA application and should be deployable without any downtime of the target environment at any time. In the current state of PA processes must be deployed entirely manually by copying .pro files and restarting the target environment. This results in reduced availability of applications and/or forcing admins to perform these deployments outside work hours.

Deployment of TI processes (and maybe other TM1 objects like websheets, dimensions, jobs etc.) should be possible with PAW lifecycle management, like it is today with workbooks and views. This would be a huge improvement for developers of PA applications.

This idea is not under consideration.

However, the Planning Analytics roadmap for 1H 2023 includes the introduction of a TM1 model migration capability in the Workspace modeling workbench. The model migration is independent of the LCM feature in PAA, but can be used in conjunction with LCM to move processes and other database objects between environments.
