Better Debug logging

When debug logging is turned on to measure "logins" the logs fill up with logins, not just the initial user login, but 100's and 100's of "system chatter" logins as PA confirms internally...something about login.

Intial user login is important to a lot of people, who logged in and when, that drives things like how many licenses a client might need, who is no longer a user, ....useful metrics to both IBM and to the client admins.

The "system chatter" logins are utterly useless, except I presume for some esoteric system purposes. AND they fill up the logs with junk from most peoples perspective.

REquest: can we , please have a an abilitt to segregate the debug setting so that thedefault or a "option 1" is "intial logins/logouts only"

This idea is not under consideration. It's already possible to enable only specific debug options. It's also possible to write the debug logging to different log files than tm1server.log to make the debug logging easier to consume. An example can be found here: https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/write-tm1-server-debug-logging-alternate-file
