A way to save user-specific context in PAW

PAW is missing a way (like cookies) to save selected dimension elements per user, e.g. to provide a user-specific default value. With this it should also be possible to keep elements selected from one PAW workbook to another.

Can you provide some more information, how this feature has been implemented and with what version of PAW?

I've marked this AHA idea as future consideration. We are not planning on storing the context (selected members in hierarchies) for the user in books. However, the user context is something we would like to store for the assets (books and views) within the context of a Plan and Application.
