Changed status to 'Not under consideration'. This requirement could and should be implemented with command line scripting to run the backup and examine the output of the backup script.

    Additional description:

On either Windows or Linux, when a scheduled backup fails in the middle of its job, we might not notice it, unless we take a look at the log file. As a result, we might have corrupted or incomplete backup files. If these backup files are restored, this can lead to catastrophic situations: days or weeks of work can be lost since the last valid backup might be too old.

In order to avoid such situations, it would be useful to include the possibility for the backup script to send an alert by email
