PAW: upload or reuse tm1project file in Git repository integration to select objects

After doing a deployment of a bracnh in the test environment you often find that:

  • some objects were missed as part of promotion package

  • additional changes are required in the promoted objects after testing

It would be great to not have to manually pick all the objects for the change again cause it introduces a chance to miss something (and requires tracking them somewhere) and either:

  • read the existing tm1project file in the branch if it exists and 'prefill' the object selection

or

  • allow uploading the tm1project during object selection

    Idea has been promoted. We are investigating having the modeling workbench GIT feature remember the previously pushed objects.
