PAW refresh to update Webpage Widget with latest html content

Using the Webpage Widget to display html content. This is convenient to generate custom html to display within PAW.


But the refresh button within PAW does not update the webpage widget with the latest html content.

(Have to force clear browser cache, then refresh the browser to update the webpage widget displayed).


Raised an IBM Support issue and got the response:

"

Widgets such as the Webpage widget is supposed to be a static widget and because of that, it doesn't get refreshed from the refresh button etc.

As this feature is working as designed, you can raise an enhancement request.

"


It will greatly enhance user experience if paw refresh will update the webpage widget. This will extend PAW capability to display current html information.

    Updated status to future consideration. We will examine options to refresh the widget (e.g an optional property that can enabled) as well as a timed refresh option.

    No ETA to address this idea, but we will track this on our backlog.
