Historical Trend Analysis for Resource Usage in PROD and DEV Instances

Dear IBM Planning Analytics Team,

I am reaching out to propose an enhancement to the current capabilities of Planning Analytics, specifically around the visibility of resource utilization (RAM, CPU, and possibly disk space) across our environments, including both PROD and DEV instances.

Currently, within the Administration tab, users can monitor the live status of system resource usage. However, this real-time data does not allow for historical trend analysis. Our team finds it crucial to have the ability to review past usage data to effectively plan for capacity requirements and identify patterns during peak usage times. This feature would greatly enhance our ability to manage resources more efficiently and ensure that our systems are optimized for both current and future demands.

Having access to historical trends would empower users to make informed decisions regarding scaling and resource management, ultimately leading to improved system performance and user satisfaction.

I believe that incorporating this feature into a future version of Planning Analytics would not only benefit our team but also the broader user community who may face similar challenges in resource planning and optimization.
