Planning Analytics Dynamic Chart Titles

A clear, descriptive chart title helps users efficiently and effectively comprehend what they are viewing.

We'd like to see the Chart Title capability elevated from a static string to optionally include dynamic expressions capable of relaying current dimensional selections.

For example:
Static Title: "POS Sales"
Dynamic Title: "POS Sales - Location XYZ - Store Channel"

In this case, the above dynamic title string might be written as:

"POS Sales - {[Location]} - {[Channel]} Channel"

The Location and Channel references would be substituted with the CurrentMember name from the respective dimensions in the context of the Chart fields. The title would update as different member selections were made.

Besides improving the online PA experience, this would benefit the sharing of charts via screenshots whether via email or PowerPoint.

    Updated status to future consideration. The Planning Analytics product team is tracking a backlog work item to address this requirement with our Workspace book synchronization capability.
