Greater distinction between the Input / "All Leaf" level in the PAfE cube viewer / PAW exploration.

Discounting ruled cells, the only distinction between an "All Leaf" cell and a consolidation is that the cell is normal or bold text formatted.
This distinction is too subtle.  You can only tell the difference between a bold and normal formatted text if you have both on the screen at the same time and even then you have to be looking for the difference.
Could we have All Leaf cells have a coloured background, in the same way as ruled cells are coloured?

Currently it is easy to think you are at the All Leaf level in error.  For example, if you are at the Leaf level on the rows but at a C level on a Page reference (especially if it is benched) then you will see a screen of bold cells.

This can cause inappropriate spread actions if doing data entry and detracts from the general utility and clarity of these interfaces.

We are working on member property based formatting in the Workspace cube viewer widget in books. This will allow the book author to determine how a row or column for a consolidated member is presented. For example, you could change the background color of the row or columns to grey, or you could bold the text. Once we complete enhancements to formatting then we will address setting default for the cube viewer in the modeling workbench and PAfE.

Note that we are also working on a new cube viewer property to disable type-in spreading (the spread dialog can still be used). This feature can also be used to prevent accidental spreads.
