The challenge I am facing is the automated close/completion for characters such as single quotes and parenthesis. Since I'm used to the old-school approach of Rules and TI, I am used to typing both ends via my keyboard. For example, I would reference a string by pressing the single quote character, typing the string, and then pressing the single quote character again. Auto fill is putting the closing quote in automatically ... which means that I am duplicating the characters. As expected, this is causing errors with my code.
If this is as simple as saying "Lee, change your coding style" then I will learn to adapt. But for now, this is slowing down my coding speed and efficiency.
