Planning Analytics Workspace / PAfE - Data Formats & Localisation

I would like to display data in PAW Views as 123.456.789,25 irrespective of the browser language.

Currently, as per the IBM documentation, this seems not to be possible.

Note:

Data in a view is displayed in accordance with your browser locale setting that uses the decimal and thousands separators for your locale. You can double-click a cell to view the raw data value as it exists on the Planning Analytics database, which uses a period as the decimal separator and omits a thousands separator. The raw value might include more decimal places than are displayed in the cell. When you enter data directly in a cell, you must use the decimal separator for your browser locale.

However, having a browser with English as a language, automatically forces the values to be 123,456,789.25

Only when choosing German or Spanish they change to 123.456.789,25

Explicitly changing the format through the attribute is not being accepted probably due to browser/OS settings override.

Thus, the pain is, while having the browser in German and PAfE in English, while double-clicking a view in the task pane in PAfE, the formatting is always the English one, although the exploration is maintaining the same format as the PAW View.

We therefore urgently request a feature that will enable us to set up the regional settings for the Planning Analytics applications, irrespective of the host OS or other peripheral non-IBM application settings.

Please note that we are finding it quite hard to promote the aforementioned IBM products, if such apparently simple features like the option to set a custom default format are not available - and therefore, this urgent idea sharing and request for prioritisation.
