What about a dialog box similar to the message when feeders being compiled take along time?
This idea is not under consideration. The TM1 database REST API does not return the number of records processed so it is not be possible to implement this feature.
You could consider using the RunProcess function to execute another TI process from the data section every X number of records. The Ti process called by the RunProcess function could update a cube with the current record count for the process.
