Currently, in IBM Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW), there's no option to filter the exploration based on the string values present in the table. Our users expect it to be available alongside the Sorting function, which works just fine. Please check the attachment.
The ability to filter tables in IBM PA Workspace (PAW) would be very beneficial for our users and would allow them to work more efficiently (e.g. without generating a snapshot of PAW table and working with it in Excel).
The function 'Filter top or bottom' which is working with numeric values could be used as a starting point (base) and expanded with new capabilities, including the standard text filtering.

We are still planning on adding filtering by string values in 2024 or 1H 2025. The improvements in 2.0.98 allow for filtering on specific numeric values only.
