Default settings for PAW environment

Currently if the client has custom settings, these colours/fonts/sizes needs to be applied to each widget (taking time and a lot of maintenance). There is also a risk that if users create ad-hoc dashboards, that they use different settings than the pre-defined configurations within the templates (should their starting point not be to use the templates as the base).

THUS, can their be a configuration section within PAW Administration to configure the PAW environment's default settings, like:

  • Default fonts for all objects in PAW (if a client has uploaded a custom font, use this font to render all widgets within the PAW environment)

  • Default cube view colours/fonts/sizes for rows, columns and data (instead of configuring this for each one of the widgets, render all widgets with the same default settings and then overrule these default settings with the current properties settings)

  • Default pallettes for all application, plans and reports (render all graphs and charts with the same predefined pallette)

  • Default colours for zebra stripes within the views

  • Default background colours for all application, plans and reports (would make it easier to manage this as a central setting that users can overrule with the current properties section)

  • Default aspect ratio for all application, plans and reports, with the ability to overrule this default with the current size configuration within properties

  • Default time displays based on the server AND based on the user's regional settings (settings that can be defined by the PAW administrator to be specific for central chore functions - like chores being executed once on the server at a specific time) VS user executed processes that needs to display information based on regional time/date settings.

Yes please! I do not know how much time we have spent changing this in for PAW reports. The look and feel design part of PAW is still missing a lot of quality of life improvements
