Need to take a backup for database more than 50 GB size

Hi Team,

We have a database that is more than 50 GB when we take a backup daily, but when we restore the backup, all the feeder files are deleted, and the feeder files start loading. Loading all the feeders takes a long time, more than 10 hours, when we restore. IBM support team provided the script using the Powershell script that will not support when the size is more than 2 GB. We need to take a backup for the size of around 50 GB and restore it without any issues.

Thanks,

Giri.

If the issue relates to 2GB limitation of the compress-archive Powershell command, then have a look at the second part of the Planning Analytics on Cloud - Backup process using PowerShell script technote, that shows how to use robocopy to perform a backup. This is does not have a file size limitation.
