Cell history

Feature Suggestion: Cell History Tracking

Description: Enhance the user experience by allowing users to right-click on a cell and select "Cell History" to view the history of that cell. This feature would display:

  • Previous Values: A list of past values the cell has held.
  • Timestamp: The date and time each change was made.
  • User Information: The name or ID of the user who made each change, or the process that changed the cell.

Benefits:

  • Transparency: Users can easily track changes and understand the evolution of data.
  • Accountability: Identifying who made changes can help in auditing and accountability.
  • Error Tracking: Quickly pinpoint when and where errors were introduced.

Note: I understand that this information is available in the transaction logs; however, it would be more beneficial to users if accessible via right-click.
