the idea is fine with the data base explorer.
I miss some points here. Maybe they are still in the roadmap:
the numbering column for all objects
for the views: the sets
for the dimensions: the sets
for the chores the possibility to go to the special process
the system objects in general, the objects with "}" at the beginning and if they are there, the separation for normal and system objects

To confirm, there is no plan to introduce multi-select into the database tree.
I'm closing this idea against the database explorer feature that was introduced in 2.0.104 (see https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/planning-analytics/2.0.0?topic=wnim2-use-new-database-explorer-view-perform-actions-database-objects-1)
