Disconnect User at instance level

See this idea on ideas.ibm.com

within Architect, we have the functionality to right-click on an instance and disconnect a user from the instance. This action will disconnect the business user, and if any thread is running with the user's name, that thread will be automatically canceled from the instance.

However, this functionality is not present in PAW. If a user disconnects a session from the screen and an admin also disconnects the user from the performance monitor screen, the disconnect thread is not taken into consideration and goes into wait mode only. This functionality is missing in the PAW version compared to architect.

    Hi Stuart,

If a user disconnects their session from the PAW page while a business user thread is running at the instance level, and the admin team is unable to cancel the thread from the PAW administration page or disconnect user, this thread can impact the instance level. Therefore, this option is very useful to avoid such issues, as the user is not accessing the IBM PA instance during that time.

This idea is not under consideration. Disconnecting a session and ending an active thread are two different actions. If the Intent is to cancel current activity then the cancel thread option should be used.
