Honestly, when the user first pointed out the missing Paste button on right-click menu after upgrade to PA 2.1, I thought it was not an issue. As a developer and administrator, I am used to keyboard shortcut of Ctrl + V. However, from a business user's perspective, the Paste button on right-click menu is essential for efficiency. Quite often, they use their left hand to check figures on printouts and compare them to websheet's. They just need to use mouse and numeric keypad with right hand to get their job done on tm1web.
The user who pointed this out is quite serious about requesting the Paste button back. This might be a common request from most business users.
Hi Stuart,
Thank you for the swift response. The end users need it for TM1web now. If IBM encourage users to move from TM1web to PAW, the end users will need the Paste button on right-click menu in PAW as well. Now, the Paste button is missing on both TM1web and PAW. "Use Ctrl-V to Paste" is showed on right-click menu instead.
Thanks,
Vincent
Hi Vincent,
Can you please state what user interface you are referencing? Is this the Planning Analytics Workspace cube viewer, set editor, or dimension editor? Is this in TM1Web or Planning Analytics for Excel?
Thanks in Advance!
