It is a basic and fundamental capability for end users to be able to contribute to a planning model and we want a model to be the most user friendly, easy to use and efficient as possible. Since many users of IBM Planning Analytics heavily use spreadsheets a CSV upload capability is a no-brainer ..surely ! To take this functionality away from end users as a capability is going backwards. We don't want to be compromising a model by providing full admin to all end users just to workaround removal of this capability from end users. That would compromise the model and security built into an IBM Planning Analytics application. Even if an end user security group had to be configured to be able to upload rather than restricted to just admin could be a way forward.
Ability to upload data is essential planning capability for end users, who are not admin. Please restore the capability!
We use this for users to upload financials and stats for global consolidation, removal of this capability will cripple our month end process. Please restore this capability!
We use this functionality for consolidation models where individual non-admin users submit their trial balance via action button for consolidation purposes. With this functionality gone from 12.5, we cannot upgrade and have to remain on 12.4.x, as they will otherwise lose a major benefit of the model. With them not being able to upgrade, they cannot use the transaction log, as that is not functional in the older 12.4 versions. Please can this be prioritised urgently!
