Configure cube viewer to repeat member names on each row and column

https://jsw.ibm.com/browse/WORKSPACE-16064

Currently stacked cube views in PAW merge element names across the header column. However when combined with specific column alignment, the cube view headers move away from the data set.

For the attached example screenshot, the format should be

1) Where column data is numeric, the data cells and headers to be aligned right
2) Where column data is string (Comments), the data cells and headers to be aligned left.

However this is not currently possible as some of hierarchy members are shared across numeric and string data sets.

To get around this, even if all data cells and headers are aligned right some column headers then appear blank due to the merging of the element names.

Expected after enhancement:

  • When enabled, PAW will repeat the member name in each column where it appears, rather than merging it across multiple adjacent columns.

  • This applies to all stacked dimensions in the cube view.

  • Repeated headers will allow different alignment/formatting rules to be applied per column instance, even if they share the same member.

  • When disabled (default), PAW retains the current merged-header behaviour.

Updated to future consideration. The IBM Planning Analytics team is continuing to add format features and will consider this for the 2026 roadmap for cube view formatting.
