Enable Persistent Saving of User Rows/Columns (Spacers) Directly in Universal Reports Web Interface

Dear Team,

Currently, user rows/columns (spacers) in Universal Reports can be added, edited, or removed in the web interface (Planning Analytics Workspace or TM1 Web), as well as fully edited and saved in Planning Analytics for Excel (PAfE).

In the web interface, however, these changes are only session-based – any additions, removals, or edits are lost once the session ends. To make changes permanent, users must export the report as a slice, open it in PAfE, modify it there, and then publish it back to the server.

This applies to both standard and static Universal Reports.

Requested Enhancement: Add the ability to save edited user rows/columns (spacers) directly and persistently in the web interface.

This improvement would:

  • Save multiple clicks and steps when using PAfE

  • Increase flexibility for users working primarily in the web

  • Better support collaborative web-based workflows

  • Streamline the overall workflow

  • Reduce dependency on local Excel installations
