Add Book Information to Workspace TM1 Session Context

Hi all,

At the moment, when a user connects via Planning Analytics for Excel (PAfE), the TM1 session Context field includes valuable details such as:

PAfE/Version (0); Excel/Version (x64, WorkbookName, WorksheetName)

This information is extremely helpful for administrators, as it provides visibility into what users are doing and helps identify Excel workbooks that may impact performance.

However, when users work in Planning Analytics Workspace, the Context field simply displays "Workspace", without any additional detail. It would be very beneficial if Workspace could send more descriptive context, such as:

Workspace/BookName

This would give administrators better insight into user activity within Workspace, help diagnose performance issues, and improve overall monitoring.

Thanks in advance.

This idea is not under consideration. The session context in TM1 is intended to only state which client tool a user might be using. It's not a record of which interfaces the user accessed. We are working on an audit feature in Planning Analytics Workspace that can track which assets a user accessed.
