Conditional Data Rules in Books: Add Duplicate Button and Bulk Actions

Dear team,

Even in the latest releases (2.1.17 Feb 2026 and 3.1.4 Jan 2026), there is still no way to duplicate an existing Conditional Data Rule with one click. When dealing with 10+ rules per measure (e.g. multi-level traffic lights, variance highlighting, negative red, thresholds), each rule must be recreated manually — wasting time and increasing errors.

Desired features (in priority order):

  1. Duplicate Rule button per rule (next to Edit/Delete in the dialog).

  2. Multi-select for rules → bulk duplicate, delete, enable/disable, move up/down.

  3. Copy/Paste rules between measures/columns in the same book (or across books).

  4. Reusable Rule Sets / Templates — save common rule groups (e.g. standard traffic-light logic) and apply via dropdown to other views/measures.

  5. Search/filter in the rules list dialog (for many rules).

Business Impact: Significant productivity gain for power users, consultants, and finance teams — less manual work, fewer errors, faster template creation.

Use Case: Financial reporting, KPI dashboards, plan-vs-actual with 15–25 rules per column.
