Allow end users to view TurboIntegrator error logs through Reports & Analysis in PAW

Currently, TurboIntegrator (TI) error logs are only accessible to developers through the Workbench or other technical tools.
As a result:

  • Business users cannot see the errors generated by the processes they execute.
  • They depend on the technical team even for very simple issues such as:
    • Incorrect file format
    • Missing parameters
    • Invalid dimension or element
    • Data type problems
  • This creates unnecessary support workload and delays operational processes.

Proposal

Introduce in Planning Analytics Workspace a user‑friendly, permission‑controlled interface that allows end users to view TI process error logs. Features could include:

  1. A read‑only panel showing recent TI execution errors.
  2. Ability to filter logs by process, user, date, and status.
  3. Display of the error message in a simplified, non‑technical format.
  4. Integration into Reports & Analysis, so users can see errors related to their books, guided imports, tasks, or action buttons.
  5. Optional notifications to users when a TI process they triggered ends in error.

Justification

  • Reduces dependency on developers for minor operational errors.
  • Accelerates data‑loading workflows and improves user autonomy.
  • Aligns PAW with modern platforms that expose operational logs safely while respecting security roles.
  • Eliminates the need to grant Workbench or Admin access to non‑technical users.
  • Improves overall adoption and usability of Planning Analytics.

Impact

  • High impact for organizations where business users run numerous TI processes independently.
  • Significant reduction of support workload.
  • Faster resolution of user errors.
  • More transparent and efficient data‑loading cycles.
