“Add Spacer” with MDX parameters in asymmetric views

Addition of spacers with stacked columns / rows using MDX Global Parameters in asymmetric views



When 2 dimensions or more are stacked in asymmetric views, spacers addition is not working properly when MDX Global Variables are used.



Reproduction steps :


1. Stack 2 dimensions with 2 members selected on at least 1 dimension


2. Select one member of the second dimension of the stack, click on Add Spacer => Spacer is added


3. Undo, select one member of the first dimension of the stack, click on Add Spacer => Spacer is added


4. Undo


5. Variabilize with MDX Global Parameter the second dimension, make the view asymmetrical and unlock the view in MDX


6. When opening the MDX, we can see the “blank header” is added in the “WITH MEMBER…” section but not in the “SELECT...” Section. Workaround: “blank header” can be added manually on the SELECT section to display the blank row/column
