Better visibility and control when starting TM1 models in PAW (v11 & v12)

Description:

Current Situation (both v11 and v12):

When starting a TM1 model, administrators currently have very limited feedback:

• Only a one-time standard refresh is possible at startup. The useful Auto refresh interval can only be set afterwards (Activity → Configure activities).
• During/after startup you only see basic resource usage:
  • v11: Memory (growing), CPU, Health status
  • v12: Memory (e.g. 0.55 / 3.00 GB), CPU, Status “Ready”

There is no clear indication how much of the model has actually been loaded (e.g. dimensions, cubes, feeders, rules etc.). You can only observe memory increasing until it stabilizes and hope the model is fully ready.

Requested Enhancements:

1. Auto Refresh at Startup (Priority) Add the same “Auto refresh time (in seconds)” option directly in the model start / Details tab – same as already available in the Activity tab.
2. Improved Loading Visibility (applies to v11 and v12) Show better feedback during model startup, for example:
   • Progress indicator (e.g. “45% loaded” or at least clear phases)
   • Current loading step („Loading dimensions…“, „Processing feeders for Sales cube…“, „Calculating rules…“, „Server is ready“)
   • Estimated remaining time (nice-to-have)

Business Value:

• Administrators know immediately whether the model is still loading or already fully ready
• Less uncertainty with large/complex models that take several minutes to start
• Fewer support calls (“Is it hanging?”)
• Better and more consistent user experience across PA v11 and v12
