Option to adjust/expand header widths in PAW CubeViews to display full element names

Current Behavior:

In CubeViews, long element names or aliases in row and column headers are often truncated (cut off with ellipses) if the default header box/field width is too narrow. While we are aware that hovering over a truncated label displays the full name in a tooltip, this workaround is not sufficient for efficient daily work.

Proposed Enhancement:

Allow users to manually resize (drag-to-resize) or auto-fit the row/column header field widths in PAW CubeViews so that long member names/aliases can be displayed in their entirety directly within the grid.

Why the existing "Hover" tooltip is not enough:

  • Efficiency & Usability: Hovering over individual cells one by one is time-consuming and disruptive when reviewing large financial reports or data sets. Analysts need to scan full member names at a glance.

  • Exporting & Printing: Hover tooltips do not appear in PDF exports, printouts, or static dashboard views used by decision-makers and executives.

  • Dashboard Design: Truncated text reduces the visual quality of executive dashboards and forces developers to use unnaturally short aliases or extra workarounds.
