PAW Administration: Select All / Deselect All for databases in Settings

Dear team,
Idea

In Planning Analytics Workspace, administrators can enable or disable databases under Settings → Administration → Databases.

The database list already supports selecting multiple databases. However, there is currently no Select All / Deselect All option.

In environments with many databases, administrators therefore have to manually select each database when they want to apply an action to all databases. This is time-consuming, especially when setting up a new environment or changing the availability of a large number of databases.

Requested enhancement

Add a Select All / Deselect All control to the database list, for example as a checkbox in the list header.

Administrators should be able to:

  • select all currently listed databases with one click

  • deselect all currently selected databases with one click

  • use the existing bulk enable/disable actions on the selection

Expected behavior

A header checkbox should select or deselect all databases currently displayed in the list, respecting any active search or filter.

The existing actions for enabling or disabling selected databases should then apply to the complete selection.

Benefit

This would make database administration faster and reduce repetitive manual selection, particularly in environments with many databases.

    I fully support this idea.

    When working with environments containing a larger number of databases, having to select each database individually is unnecessarily time-consuming. A Select All / Deselect All option would make the administration much more efficient, especially when the same action needs to be applied to many or all databases.

    A header checkbox that also respects active filters would be a simple but very useful improvement.
