Not under consideration. Although we can continue to improve usability of the thread cancel operation, we cannot guarantee that it will work in all cases all the time.
I can confirm that it's not possible to guarantee thread cancellations in the current thread model for TM1 Server. This enhancement will remain open for future consideration.
