My feedback concerns the TM1 Excel add-in (PAX) version 2.0.49.1 (64 bit) and its use with Excel Office 365.
If you password protect a tab in Excel, whenever you click on that tab, I think the TM1 add-in runs a recalc resulting in a pop-up message box in Excel saying "Unprotect Sheet" and prompting you to enter the password.
We use Excel templates for budgeting, etc. and we don't want the users to unprotect the sheets and make changes to the layout, hence why the sheets are password protected. This is standard practice at most companies.
It is an annoyance for the users to be prompted to unprotect the sheet every time they click on a tab, especially when they are unable to do so (and we don't want them to do so!)
In earlier versions of PAX and perhaps Excel also, they did not receive these pop-up message boxes.

I agree with the Original Post, this is a massive annoyance to end users who are using workbooks to submit forecasts/budgets. We are in the same position that we must password protect workbooks, to preserver essential formulae from being overwritten/deleted by end users. Please can you remove this pop-up.
