Need access to sub-folders while uploading/selecting files in PAW

While working in PAW I know that we can drag and drop files from local to the shared folder wherein in the back-end a folder gets updated named ' Model_Upload'.

Now, I have file consists of multiple division named (HR , Finance & R&D). In 'Model_Upload' these division folders are created.

o the question here is how users of these divisions will drag & drop file on these specified folder. For e.g (HR division user will drag and drop files specific to its division).

I have shared screenshot which makes it clear that if there are sub-folders maintained within model upload folder in shared drive system (PAW) is not allowing me to either upload file nor drag and drop.

I have been performing internal tests by creating a new folder in model_upload folder and placing a file there

  • when I try to import it via a process, PAW displays the folder name, but not it's contents

 

The following conclusion apply:

  • the Workspace modeling / UI does not support sub-folders under the model_upload folder
  • the UI expects and will display everything in model_upload (including sub folders) as a flat list of files
  • PAW does not support this type of upload usage

    Hi Team , 

    This is something which is very urgently required at client side. As one stop for all user can leverage this feature in PAW by just dragging and dropping in the sub-folders.

     

    Do let me know if in case you require any inputs from my side. Awaiting for your quick response on the same.
